Château Montus, Madiran

Vignobles Brumont 2012

S$1900 Flacon of 10cl

Prestigiously nicknamed the 'Pétrus of the Southwest', Château Montus is a perfect reflection of the Madiran appellation. This beautifully deep, virtually black colored wine boasts a full-body and excellent structure along with aromas of crème de cassis, violets and cocoa. It is well-balanced and round on the palate with silky tannins and gives an elegant and long-lasting finish dominated by cocoa and licorice. Oak is present, but not overly dominant thanks to its perfect integration into the structure of the wine.
